In today’s tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to make a drawstring bag, which I think is such a useful skill. Drawstring bags can be made in a huge range of sizes from gift bags to larger toy storage for your kids. In the pattern, I have included 5 sizes from XL to XS to accommodated any gift-giving wrapping or storage. I remember all the family had their own for things like hats, gloves and scarfs. Mum made the drawstrings out of tweed and silk so just because I’ve used cotton don’t let that limit you.
The bag pattern includes 5 sizes XL to XS and will be available in my free resource library. So to get your bonus sizes and exslusive patterns sign up below.
In the video, I made the smallest bag which is the perfect drawstring bag for gift-wrapping or for little wedding/ party favours. The sample I made is the second to largest bag and makes the perfect storage bag.
